DALLAS – The Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES, the Exchange) has named Chief Master Sgt. Angela Holden as its new senior enlisted advisor. Holden brings 23 years of military leadership experience to the position responsible for connecting the Exchange mission with the evolving needs of service members, families, retirees, Veterans and Department of War civilians worldwide.
“The Exchange operates more than 5,000 facilities in more than 30 countries, providing tax-free shopping and military-exclusive benefits while generating earnings that support military Quality-of-Life programs,” said Exchange Director/CEO Brad Bingham. “Chief Holden’s extensive experience will further strengthen the Exchange’s support for service members and families wherever they are called to serve.”
Holden’s Air Force career includes 14 assignments in 10 countries, spanning stateside, overseas, combat, remote and embassy tours.
“Enhancing Quality of Life across the Army, Air Force and Space Force is what attracted me to the Exchange,” Holden said. “The Exchange is part of the military community’s everyday life. I look forward to listening, learning and advocating for those who rely on it.”
After more than two decades as an Exchange customer, Holden brings a unique appreciation for the tastes of home, convenience and support the Exchange provides across the United States and in more than 30 countries.
“Whether customers are shopping for everyday essentials, preparing for a PCS or looking for a taste of home overseas, the Exchange is there,” Holden said. “I am honored to help continue that legacy of service.”
