The 960th Cyberspace Wing hosted its second iteration of Gladiator Nexus in San Antonio, Texas, July 28-30, 2026, bringing together all components of the wing in preparation for Gladiator Resolve, the wing’s first-ever combat readiness exercise taking place across nine states July 31-Aug. 4, 2026.
“Gladiator Nexus is a 960th CW senior leadership engagement focused on strategic communication, planning, and cyber capability efforts,” said Col. Joshua N. Garrison, 960th CW commander. “By bringing our cyberspace leadership together across the wing, we synchronize our strategic objectives and strengthen our posture as a cohesive, combat-ready force, prepared to execute decisive cyberspace operations.”
Given the wing’s unique structure with units operating across geographically separated locations, the event presented leaders the chance to come together, align priorities and get ahead of upcoming initiatives.
“The 960th CW is the only cyberspace wing in the U.S. Air Force Reserve,” added Garrison. “It’s also the only wing in the Department of the Air Force that provides full spectrum cyber and warfighter communications capabilities under one command.”
The first Gladiator Nexus occurred in March 2026. With the second occurring several months later, the event served as a checkpoint for 960th CW leadership to refine plans, sync leadership priorities and enhance leadership approaches. It also offered an opportunity to posture the wing’s unique structure for successful execution during Gladiator Resolve and future training events.
