Marshall Center Welcomes Consul General of Ukraine
The Marshall Center welcomed Nykytiuk Yurii, Consul General of Ukraine in Munich, to our campus in Garmisch-Partenkirchen on April 2, 2026.
The visit offered an opportunity to share updates on the Marshall Center’s redesigned programs and to exchange perspectives on future cooperation and shared priorities.
During the general meeting and mission brief, the key message from the Consul General was the importance of the Marshall Center in providing professional training for Ukrainian security and defense practitioners and diplomats, as well as supporting their career development. At the same time, he emphasized that Ukraine itself has a great deal to offer — particularly its wartime experience, battle-tested solutions, innovation, and resilience.
For that reason, maintaining this exchange between Ukrainian professionals and participants from NATO allies and partner countries remains essential, as it is mutually enriching.
Ukrainians make up the largest alumni community within the Marshall Center’s global network of more than 17,000 graduates from 165 nations.
