Kaw Lake recreaation enhanced with new fitness trail

KAW CITY, Okla. – Thanks to a partnership between the Tulsa District Corps of Engineers, Kaw Lake, Phillips 66 Ponca City Refinery and the City of Kaw City visitors to Kaw Lake have a new fitness trail.

The project included the addition of a compacted asphalt milling surface to the walking trail and the installation of six physical fitness equipment stations. The trail is accessible year-round from the Overlook parking lot.
