    Commander, Fleet Activities Chinhae (CFAC) bid farewell to Lt. Cmdr. Nathan Ouellette, a native of Derry, New Hampshire, at the CFAC theater June 13, 2025 after 24 years of dedicated service.
    "For over two decades, I've been dedicated to the security and readiness of our naval forces. I retire with gratitude for the opportunity to have served and led, and with confidence in the future of those I've had the honor to work alongside," said Lt. Cmdr. Ouellette.
    Lt. Cmdr. Ouellette began his career as a deck seaman in 2001, commissioned in 2011, and finished his Naval career as the Regional Security Officer for Commander, Navy Region Korea (CNRK).
    “After 24 years of dedicated service to the U.S. Navy, I am incredibly proud of the contributions made to force protection, security, and the development of countless professionals,” said Lt. Cmdr. Ouellette. “I am grateful for the opportunity to have led and served alongside such a dedicated team, and I look forward to applying my experience to new challenges.”
    “Nate exemplified the highest standards of naval service throughout his career. His leadership, dedication, and integrity left a lasting impact on every command he served, especially here in Korea, said Rear Adm. Neil Koprowski, Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Korea. “We thank him and his family for their sacrifice, outstanding service and wish them fair winds and following seas.”
    CNFK is the U.S. Navy’s representative in South Korea, providing leadership and expertise in naval matters to improve institutional and operational effectiveness between the two navies and to strengthen collective security efforts in Korea and the region.
