Fort Cavazos, Texas — May 13, 2025 — Soldiers from the 328th Military Police Company responded to a simulated active shooter threat as part of their Culminating Training Event (CTE) in preparation for an upcoming deployment to Southeastern Europe.
The exercise tested the unit’s response time, dispatch communication protocols, rapid entry planning and active shooter threat response tactics in coordination with emergency medical services. Soldiers also rehearsed room-clearing procedures and delivered Scene Casualty Care in a high-stress environment designed to replicate real-world conditions.
This scenario is one of a series of training events aimed at assessing the unit’s readiness and sharpening their capabilities for potential situations they may encounter while deployed across the region.
