I am so incredibly proud of my crew and I know that each and every one of them will continue to have a positive impact on the Navy and our country!”

Cmdr. Broome is a native of El Paso, Texas, and previously served as the executive officer aboard USS St. Louis (LCS 19) gold crew. Broome will report to the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD.

“I am truly humbled and excited to take command of USS MARINETTE,” CDR Miller states. “We have a truly amazing team of professionals onboard and I look forward to getting the ship back underway and operational.”
