The Marshall Center joined the Bundesakademie für Sicherheitspolitik (BAKS) and the Russia Strategic Initiative (RSI) for a Strategic Competition Seminar Series in Berlin, May 21 to 23, 2025.
As the security landscape evolves, so do the conversations about security roles and responsibilities. The workshop brought together military professionals, diplomats, and experts to discuss the future of European-led deterrence and defense.
Since 1993, the Marshall Center has served as a trusted platform for dialogue and partnership. This workshop builds on that foundation—this time co-hosting these critical conversations with BAKS and RSI as Europe charts the path forward.
BAKS (Bundesakademie für Sicherheitspolitik, or Federal Academy for Security Policy) supports the German Federal Government by providing strategic-level education, expert conferences, and dialogue on national and international security policy.
RSI is a U.S. European Command program that strengthens understanding of Russian military strategy and coordinates efforts with allies and partners to enhance deterrence and defense in Europe.
