Felicia Williams Retired from the U.S. Air Force after 28 Years

U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Felicia Lattimore-Williams, a native to Lowndesboro, Alabama, plans to retire from the U.S. Air Force after serving honorably for 28 years.

Williams last served as the Senior Enlisted Leader of the 56th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. She serves as the advisor to the commander on issues impacting the readiness, training and development of 388 military and civilian personnel.

Additionally, she oversees supply chain management, refueling and vehicle repair processes in support of two wings, six NATO partnerships and 23 tenants, impacting 7,600 members.

During her career, Williams has deployed in support of Operations SOUTHERN WATCH, IRAQI FREEDOM, NEW DAWN, INHERENT RESOLVE and FREEDOM SENTINEL. Her background includes various leadership roles in the Materiel Management career field consisting of assignments in Japan, Republic of South Korea, Delaware, Missouri, Virginia and Arizona.

She has earned an associates of applied science degree in Logistics from the Community College of the Air Force, a bachelor of science degree in Business Management and master of science degree in Management-Organization Leadership from Wilmington University, Delaware. Her military awards include the Bronze Star Medal, the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal (four devices), and the Air Force Commendation Medal (three devices).

Williams is from White Hall, Alabama, located in Lowndes County. Upon her graduation from Central High School, she enlisted in the Air Force. She is the daughter of Tanya E. Lattimore-Goldsmith (Sam) and Alex C. Hardy (Thelma). Courage, compassion and character describes Williams, as she credits her faith in God and support from family for her exemplary military service.

Chief Williams lives in Glendale, Arizona, and enjoys spending time with her husband James and son Caleb.
