YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan – Yokota’s chapter of Mission 22 held its 3rd annual motorcycle ride and car show officially dubbed “2 Wheels 2 Heal,” at Yokota Air Base, Japan, June 25. According to the Department of Veterans Affairs in 2020 there was 6,146 Veteran suicides, averaging to 16.8 deaths per day. Mission 22 provides recovery and resiliency programs for veterans and families while simultaneously hosting events to raise awareness.
