Missouri Guard Members Participate in SMEE on Pandemic Response Missouri Guard members and fifteen members of seven different organizations participated in a subject matter expert exchange focused on Pandemic Response.
Members of Panama’s National Border Service (SENAFRONT), National Police (Policia Nacional), National Aeronaval Service (SENAN), Ministry of Public Security (MINSEG), and the National Civil Protection System (SINAPROC) took part.
The purpose of the exchange was to present best practices and case studies for discussion. The exchange included presentations on the Army Health System, Missouri pandemic response missions, lessons learned, MEDEVAC, response overviews, use of Social Media for emergent information during pandemic, and the use of hotels and hospitals for pandemic management.
