FORT CARSON, Colo. ¬ Have you downloaded the new Digital Garrison app?
If you have, then you know how easy it is to find current post facility hours, phone numbers and locations, to include driving directions. You also can rest assured that you will receive a push notification for any weather delays or closures as temperatures begin to drop.
If not, what are you waiting for? Not only can you be in the know when it comes to vital Fort Carson information, but you can change your installation within the app to access information if you visit or move to one of the more than 60 other Army installations on Digital Garrison.
Digital Garrison is the Army’s free mobile app that connects Soldiers, Families and civilians working on the installation with a full array of on-post services and events.
A partnership between the U.S. Army and the Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES), Digital Garrison features include:
- Gate hours and locations.
- Push notifications with emergency information about gate closures, inclement weather reporting procedures or disruptive events. To enable, click on the “Account” at the bottom of the landing page, and choose “Communication Preferences” to opt into the feature.
- A categorized installation directory to easily find support agencies, fitness and recreation facilities, medical clinics, restaurants and much more.
- AAFES retail facilities information, sales flyers, option to link ShopMyExchange.com account and ability to shop with AAFES and have purchases ready for in-store pickup or shipped to residence.
- Defense Commissary Agency sales flyers and link to Click 2GO curbside service.
