Coalition Forces Land Component Command
CAMP ARIFJAN, Kuwait " Lt. Gen. James R. Helmly, Chief, Army Reserve, completed his trip of visiting Soldiers stationed in the Middle East Dec. 26.
Command Sgt. Maj. Nicholas A. Piacentini, U.S. Army Reserve Command, accompanied him on his tour.
Helmly and Piacentini were in Pakistan to visit Soldiers on Christmas and help deliver supplies to victims from the earthquake two months ago.
Piacentini also held town-hall meetings at some installations, answering Soldiers questions on the Army Reserve transformation, education and any issues they have had on their deployment.
At the conclusion of their visit, Helmly along with Piacentini traveled to the U.S. Embassy in Kuwait to meet with the ambassador and reenlisted a group of National Guard and Reserve Soldiers.
