DALLAS – The Army & Air Force Exchange Service and MILITARY STAR® are giving extra holiday cheer to military shoppers with double rewards points Dec. 12 and 13.
Purchases made with MILITARY STAR will earn four points per $1 instead of the standard two points. For every 2,000 points earned, cardholders automatically receive a $20 reward.
“Warfighters and their families can get an extra holiday gift for themselves while shopping this holiday season,” said Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Kevin Osby, Exchange senior enlisted advisor. “The double points offer gives shoppers the chance to earn more points in half the time to receive a $20 reward.”
Shoppers can enjoy double rewards points on all MILITARY STAR purchases made everywhere the card is accepted, including online and in-store at the Exchange and commissaries, ShopMyExchange.com, myNavyExchange.com, ShopCGX.com and Exchange mall vendors.
MILITARY STAR cardholders in the continental United States are encouraged to complete online purchases through Dec. 14 to receive regular ground shipment orders by Dec. 24. Purchases for priority shipment must be completed by Dec. 17.
Other benefits of the MILITARY STAR card include:
• Free shipping on all ShopMyExchange.com and MyNavyExchange.com orders.
• 10% off first-day purchases upon account approval. Discount will be applied as a credit on the customer’s first monthly billing statement.
• The lowest flat-rate APR (10.24%) among store cards—rate is offered to all cardholders upon account approval.
• No annual, late or over-limit fees.
• Reduced-interest deployment plan with no payments required for eligible customers.
