Tech. Sgt. Ryan Maxwell excelled as the 554th Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operation Repair Squadron Engineer’s logistical focal point during its 2021 Troop Training Project Program. He directed logistics of the largest overseas deployment of personnel and cargo in 14 years, shipping 60 Tons and five million dollars in tools, five vehicles, and six heavy equipment assets which empowered a $4.34M construction program across three project sites in the Republic of Korea.
Additionally, he was the single point of success to pre-deployment efforts; through his breadth of experience and his direction to move forward, 67 personnel were able to complete training requirements, mobility folder reviews, COVID-19 testing, travel arrangements, and enjoy a deployer night/info fair that eased the transition of seven months in Pacific Air Forces theatre construction for both members and their families.
Maxwell's coordination efforts with multiple Numbered Air Forces, Major Commands, and partner nations is a shining example of how individual efforts are critical to reviving the dormant partnerships with the 21st Theater Sustainment Command and the onward movement of large Air Force Civil Engineer heavy equipment and assets. His relentless dedication and expertise to his fellow teammates serve as an example for us all to emulate.
