“When I announced that the Chapel received all of this coffee, commanders and First Sergeants were extremely grateful and eager to receive some for their unit,” said Carollo. “The Chaplain Corps supports our service members in numerous ways and we are extremely thankful to HJC for their ongoing support of our service members around the globe. They have enable us to build relationships with our service members and bless them with amazing coffee.”

First Sergeants distributed the coffee throughout the wing, including its partner agencies; Air Force Mortuary Affairs Operations, Joint Personnel Depot and the Armed Forces Medical Examiner System.

“We run on coffee here,” said U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Alice Briones, AFMES deputy director. “We really appreciate the chaplain’s taking the time to come and deliver us coffee and for Holy Joes’ generous donation.”

For the service members at Dover AFB, it means keeping the missions going.

“The mission never stops and this donation of coffee helps fuel of service members (and civilians) and has been a huge morale boost for the base,” said Carollo. “JPED, AFMAO, and AFMES support the Nations fallen heroes. They have a unique mission which requires them to work around the clock- this coffee is greatly appreciated by the men and women who support this critical mission.”
