Oct. 29, 2018 is the official start of the 2018 Combined Federal Campaign at Eielson Air Force Base.
Officially established on March 3, 1971, and with almost 200 campaigns throughout the country and overseas, the CFC is the world’s largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign.
The CFC has raised more than $8.3 billion for charitable organizations. Last year alone, the Alaska CFC raised $600,000 toward Alaskan charities.
The campaign seeks to promote and support generosity through an employee-focused, cost-efficient and effective program, which provides federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.
The Iceman Team will have the opportunity to contribute to this year’s campaign from Oct. 29 to Dec. 7.
Icemen are encouraged to make a pledge via monetary gift or by volunteering their time to one of the charities in the campaign.
The opportunity to help people and communities is limitless and made possible by two online systems: myPay and CFC Nexus.
The myPay system is an easy, paper-free system for all full-time Department of Defense military and civilian employees.
If you want to set up a payroll pledge, it is strongly encouraged to use the myPay system. CFC Nexus is for anyone who is not able to use myPay or chooses to make a credit card contribution. Paper pledge forms are also available.
