    Kenner Army Health Clinic

Kenner Army Health Clinic gathered today with over 75 local community network providers at the U.S. Quartermaster Museum on Fort Lee in a Provider Collaboration Meeting to ensure our beneficiaries receive exceptional healthcare delivered by the clinic.
This annual event is sponsored by KAHC and is a collaborative event with network providers to fortify a relationship.
Lt. Col. David Glad, Deputy to the Commander for Administration at KAHC opened up with remarks saying how Kenner relies largely on the community network providers. Glad thanked the providers for allowing the Army to being the strongest force that is ever known.
Bon Secours, Aaron Couch from Business Development Marketing came in hopes to meet the providers and to see what services are available. From those conversations to let them know what her facility can offer and how they can continue to build a relationship.
Sasa Espino is the breast surgeon from Southside Regional Medical Center and came to Kenner to make known of their services and assure providers they will offer good care to the beneficiaries. She said her main focus was to let them know they can get their care here locally and not have to travel long distances.
Dr. Jancy Pottanat, MD, with KAHC found the event to be important for Kenner.
“It is nice to put the face to the name who take care of my patients, Pottanat said. “When you know them personally, it makes it so much better. Also, to understand how they run their practice and how long it takes to get them in their clinic. I am focusing today on my patient care to make sure they are being taken care of.”
The event revolved around Kenner’s mission statement stating they are committed to the delivery of exceptional and compassionate patient-centered care.
“Fort Lee community deserves the best possible care, said Lt. Col. Paul J. Kassebaum, KAHC commander. “This was a great event where Kenner and network providers got to know one another better and exchange ideas for improving patient care. Today’s winner is the Kenner patient. This is one piece of Kenner’s commitment to provide exceptional and compassionate patient-centered care.”
