Soldiers of the 1-1-5 Iraqi Army Battalion established a compound in As Sadiyah July 25-28 to provide better security for the local community. The compound needed protection improvements and the IAB and Coalition Forces worked together to make the compound safer for the soldiers stationed there. Concertina wire was installed around the parking and training areas of the compound and the engineers used heavy equipment to emplace a guard tower and HESCO barriers around the compound.
