This week’s flashback Friday focuses on taking the “taxing” out of tax season.
A free tax center opened at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, to provide assistance to Team Shaw members, Feb. 3, 2016.
The center assisted more than 600 active-duty service members, families and retirees during 2016, saving clients approximately $116,000 in tax preparation fees.
This year’s tax center opened in Building 1118, Feb. 5, and is scheduled to close April 13.
