The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Nashville District announces that Martins Fork Dam and fishing pier area are closing Jan. 8, 2018 for approximately 30 days while crews work to remove accumulated debris from the stilling basin. A structural inspection is also being performed during the closure.
The area closed is from the Martins Fork Dam tailwater area to the Kentucky 987 bridge immediately below the dam. For more information, please contact Sue Bush or Dave Robinson at the Martins Fork Lake Resource Manager’s Office at 606-573-7655.
