CAMP ROBINSON, AR – The 90th Sustainment Brigade hosted the 4th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) 2017 Best Warrior Competition at Camp Robinson, Arkansas, Feb. 3-5, 2017.
The three-day event featured 15 NCOs and Soldiers from the HHC, 90th, 300th, 211th and 647th, all vying for their chance to become the 4th ESC's Soldier and NCO of the year and represent the 4thESC in the upcoming 79th RSC's Best Warrior Competition.
After competing in a series of grueling events that tested their physical and mental conditioning, and pushed to them to their limits, Army Spc. Justin Rafferty from the 910th Quartermaster Company in Ardmore, Oklahoma and Sgt. Carlos Garcia from the 90th Special Troops Battalion, Little Rock, Arkansas, took the top honors.
4th ESC Commander, Brig. Gen. Alex Fink and Command Sgt. Maj. Larry Johnson presented the winner's trophies and congratulated all the competitors.
"This is a proud day for the 4th ESC," said Johnson. "We pushed them hard over the past three days and they showed what true warriors they are. They are all winners!"
