“We brought in all the leadership to identify a few things and the first thing was a vision,” said Clayton. “The vision that came up was to be the model installation for service support group for our customers.”
After identifying the vision for the 733rd MSG, Clayton and Herrington introduced their priorities.
Their first priority is ensuring readiness by providing support for the units located on Joint Base Langley-Eustis. This also entails providing units with a means to execute and enhance mission capabilities, said Clayton.
Other areas of importance for 733rd MSG leaders is safety and security.
“We want to ensure that the [people] we are supporting are safe, as well as our workers, civilians, Soldiers and Airmen,” said Clayton. “Whether it’s the water, the two gates or the perimeter, we must maintain security and safety.”
Improving professional development and customer support were also two main focuses for the new MSG leaders.
Clayton looks to have customer service focus Soldiers and Airmen, their families, tenant units and local community members.
Clayton and Herrington also discussed their expectations for all personnel that fall under the 733rd MSG.
