FORT BRAGG, N.C. -- In the early morning of May 24, Paratroopers of the 82nd Airborne Division took off for the All American Week 2016 10-miler.
The event took place on Simmons Army Airfield, the home for the aircraft of the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade who also hosted the event. Over 350 Paratroopers took part in the race.
The start and finish point were adorned with the various airframes of the CAB, ranging from the AH-64 Apache to the CH-47 Chinook.
The winner of the event was Pfc. Peter Koskey, a mental health specialist assigned to Womack Army Medical Center, with a time of 53:09.
