TURSAQ, Iraq, - A joint patrol of Iraqi Army and Coalition Forces soldiers captured one Anti-Iraqi Forces member and a weapons cache of rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) launchers, rifles, hand grenades, ammunition and military equipment here March 7. One anti-personnel mine and RPG rounds were also captured.

BUHRIZ, Iraq - Soldiers of 1st Battalion, 30th Infantry, and 2-13th Iraqi Army Battalion joined forces with police and captured 13 Anti-Iraqi Forces members, two 120mm mortars, rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) launchers with rounds, rifles and ammunition in a point raid here March 8. The raid was the first joint operation for the 1st Battalion, 30th Infantry, and 2-13th Iraqi Army Battalion.

Granary Assessed for Repairs
RIYADH, Iraq - The Riyadh granary's chief of farmers and troops of 1st Battalion, 163rd Infantry, assessed the granary for repairs here March 3. The chief of farmers is expected to coordinate with Coalition Forces to fix and replace missing components so the granary can process locally-grown grain.
School Construction Begun
SIDR, Iraq - Community leaders and Coalition Forces began building a school here recently, the first in a series of planned infrastructure improvements. The school is expected to eliminate the need to transport children to other schools in the region.
Bus Depot Planned
HAWIJA, Iraq -- Local leaders and Coalition Forces are planning to build a bus transportation depot here. The depot will be for the storage and maintenance of public buses recently purchased by Coalition Forces and given to the city.
