Adm. Timothy J. Keating, commander, U.S. Pacific Command, presents a command coin to Sailors aboard the guided-missile cruiser USS Lake Erie, following an awards ceremony. During the ceremony, Lake Erie was awarded the Meritorious Unit Commendation and nine Sailors received individual awards for their participation during the launching of a modified Standard Missile-3 to destroy a malfunctioning satellite.
