An M67 fragmentation grenade detonates during a 3rd Assault Amphibian Battalion training exercise here, Aug. 14, 2013. The grenade has a 15-meter injury radius giving the Marines of 3rd AABn. enhanced offensive capabilities. The exercise was designed to prepare Marines for their upcoming deployment to Japan where they will support joint operations and exercises in the Pacific.
