Brett Mietus, commander, Joint Region Marianas, awards 36th Wing, Andersen Air Force Base, the 2025 Sister School-Sister Village Large Category award during the award ceremony at USO Tumon Bay, Sept. 18. The Sister Village Program began in 1974, pairing military units with villages as a means to foster and develop mutual understanding between the people of Guam, military personnel, and their family members stationed on Guam.
