A large group of U.S. Navy personnel in tan/khaki service uniforms are assembled for a formal group photograph inside what appears to be a naval training facility or gymnasium. An oversized American flag is prominently displayed on the right wall, and a banner reading 'WHITEHAT' and 'THOSE WHO SERVE' is visible on the left. The setting suggests a graduation, ceremony, or official unit photo event.

NAVAL STATION GREAT LAKES (September 16, 2026) — Chief Petty Officers from Surface Warfare Engineering School Command (SWESC) Great Lakes, Naval Station (NAVSTA) Great Lakes, Naval Service Training Command (NSTC) Great Lakes, and Transaction Service Command (TSC) Great Lakes gather for a photo at the conclusion of the Fiscal Year 27 Chief Pinning Ceremony, Sept. 16, onboard Naval Station Great Lakes. Cmdr. Quentin Cooper, SWESC Great Lakes commanding officer, delivered the opening remarks, while Command Master Chief (Ret.) Mike Magnetta served as the event's guest speaker. SWESC is responsible for providing technical training to every surface Navy engineer, quartermaster, boatswain and deck seaman; preparing each Sailor to perform on U.S. Navy ships operating around the globe.
