    XVIII Airborne Corps

    The cockpit controls of a dual-mode air-ground light tactical vehicle sit staged at Holland Drop Zone, Fort Bragg, N.C., during Scarlet Dragon 26-3, Sept. 16, 2026, as Soldiers with the XVIII Airborne Corps and industry partners evaluate the aircraft’s dual-mode operation as a ground vehicle and light-sport aircraft. The vehicle’s controls allowed a single operator to drive over rough terrain or take off to clear obstacles such as rivers and cliffs.
