A military promotion ceremony is taking place, likely a U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer pinning/hat ceremony. Two women are placing a chief petty officer's combination cover (hat) on a male sailor in khaki uniform, while another uniformed sailor stands in the background. The event appears to be held in a formal indoor venue decorated with military flags including the U.S. flag and Marine Corps flag.

    Naval Ordnance Test Unit

The Naval Ordnance Test Unit conducted a Chief’s Pinning Ceremony at the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute at Patrick Space Force earlier today. Three Sailors – two from NOTU and one from DEOMI – became newest Navy chiefs on Florida’s Space Coast. Congratulations to Chief Petty Officers Sterling Bubolz, a missile technician at NOTU; Michael Gladden-Eversley, a boatswain's mate at NOTU; and Greg Valencia, a personnel specialist at DEOMI.
