The lecture series was established to commemorate the partnership between Lt. Gen. Mark W. Clark’s U.S. Fifth Army and Marshal Mascarenhas de Moraes’ Brazilian Expeditionary Force (Força Expedicionária Brasileira) during the 1944 Italian Campaign.
