    YOKOSUKA, Japan (September 13, 2026) -- The 17th U.S. 7th Fleet Band & Yokosuka Symphony Orchestra Friendship Concert, American Sound in Japan, was held Sunday, September 13, 2026 at the Yokosuka Arts Theatre. The theater hosted the local festival blending American and Japanese music after completing more than two years of renovation work. This year, annual concert invited high school students from Miura Gakuen, Oppama Senior High School, Yokosuka Sogo, and DOWEA Kinnick High School. (U.S. Navy photo by James Kimber)
