Douglas Kansier, an F-35B Lightning II pilot, and commanding officer of Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 533, Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, walks down the flightline before a flight operation at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Yamaguchi, Japan, Sept. 16, 2026.
