    A U.S. Marine Corps F-35B Lightning II aircraft with Marine Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 533, Marine Aircraft Group 12, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, taxis down the flightline during a flight operation at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Yamaguchi, Japan, Sept. 16, 2026. VMFA-533 arrived at MCAS Iwakuni as part of the Unit Deployment Program to augment MAG-12, 1st MAW.
