    Ebbing Fire Department firefighters U.S. Air National Guard Staff Sgt. Scott Harrison and Staff Sgt. Andy Ardon helps lower a “victim” that is in a basket stretcher from the roof during the confined-space search and victim evacuation training exercise on Sep. 11, 2026 at Ebbing Air National Guard Base, Fort Smith, Ark. This training builds more than technical expertise, it builds mission-ready warfighters prepared to operate in dangerous, unpredictable environments and evacuate those in need.
