Expeditionary Resuscitative Surgical System (ERSS) team 6 recently returned from a nearly seven-month deployment onboard the USS New Orleans (LPD 18) and USS Boxer (LHD 4). The team deployed within 24 hours’ notice and said if you stay ready, you don’t need six months to prepare.
