    U.S. Marines and children from the local community participate in dynamic warm-ups during a boot camp-inspired event hosted by Marine Corps Community Services at Butler Stadium on Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia, Sept. 12, 2026. MCCS and its partners used the Marine Corps Family Team Building Lifestyle, Insights, Networking, Knowledge, and Skills curriculum to create a Marine Corps boot camp experience in which participants completed age-appropriate physical and mental challenges and learned how Marines build community through volunteerism, friendship, and environmental stewardship.
