Jackson (SSBN 730) Gold Crew, leads a submarine tour for U.S. Air Force Missileers assigned to 315 Weapons Squadron, Sept. 14, 2026. Henry M. Jackson is assigned to COMSUBGRU 9, which exercises tactical and administrative control authority for assigned submarine commands and units in the Pacific Northwest providing oversight for shipboard training, personnel, supply and material readiness of submarines and their crews. COMSUBGRU 9 is also responsible for nuclear submarines undergoing conversion or overhaul at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton.
