The U.S. Marine Corps Mounted Color Guard presents the American Flag and the Marine Corps Standard during the Barstow Western Roundup at Marine Corps Logistics Base Barstow, Calif., Sept. 12, 2026. The event marked the first rodeo hosted by the Marine Corps Mounted Color Guard Association and held special significance for the Marine Corps’ last remaining mounted color guard and MCLB Barstow, whose participation continues a unique tradition of horsemanship, ceremonial excellence and community engagement.
