    Ammo is staged for a live-fire pistol range with partner nations during UNITAS 2026, a U.S. Naval Forces Southern/ U.S. Fourth Fleet-sponsored training exercise at Base Naval de Infanteria de Marina, Peru, Sept. 12, 2026. Hosted this year by Peru, this exercise trains forces to conduct joint maritime operations and focuses on strengthening partnerships, increasing interoperability and capability between participating naval and marine forces.
