Personnel assigned to Pacific Partnership 2026 (PP26) demonstrate a post-dive neurological assessment during a PP26 dive subject matter expert exchange at Hospital Angkatan Tentera Wilayah Kota Kinabalu in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, Sept. 10, 2026. During the event, U.S. and partner nation military service members discussed undersea medicine, operational procedures, and emergency response techniques to strengthen disaster response capabilities. Now in its 22nd iteration, the Pacific Partnership series is the largest annual multinational humanitarian assistance and disaster management preparedness mission conducted in the region. Pacific Partnership works collaboratively with host and partner nations to enhance regional interoperability and disaster response capabilities, increase security in the region, and foster new and enduring friendships in the Indo-Pacific.
