Personnel from the U.S. Navy, German Air Force, and Malaysian Armed Forces (MAF), assigned to Pacific Partnership 2026 (PP26), dance with students during an MAF Band concert as part of a PP26 community health engagement at Tombovo Penampang Primary School in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, Sept. 10, 2026. Highlights of the engagement included a live band performance, blood pressure readings, and oral hygiene demonstrations, enabling U.S., partner nations, and Malaysian Armed Forces medical professionals to share best practices, enhance emergency response capabilities, and strengthen regional health resilience. Now in its 22nd iteration, the Pacific Partnership series is the largest annual multinational humanitarian assistance and disaster management preparedness mission conducted in the region. Pacific Partnership works collaboratively with host and partner nations to enhance regional interoperability and disaster response capabilities, increase security in the region, and foster new and enduring friendships in the Indo-Pacific.
