    FLEET ACTIVITIES YOKOSUKA, Japan (Sept. 11, 2026) — Chris Soliz, acting deputy fire chief for Commander, Navy Region Japan Fire and Emergency Services, left, and Capt. Jon Hopkins, Commander, Fleet Activities Yokosuka (CFAY), lay a wreath during a 9/11 remembrance ceremony at CFAY, Sept. 11, 2026. The ceremony was held in remembrance of the 2,977 lives that were lost during the terrorist attacks at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, American Airlines Flight 11, American Airlines Flight 77, United Airlines Flight 93, and United Airlines Flight 175 on Sept. 11, 2001.
