    New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill, left, presents the New Jersey Meritorious Service Medal to representatives of the New Jersey Army National Guard’s 42nd Regional Support Group; the New Jersey Air National Guard’s 108th Wing and the 177th Fighter Wing, and the NJARNG’s the 328th Military Police Company during the 2026 New Jersey National Guard Military Review at the National Guard Armory in Sea Girt, New Jersey, Sept. 13, 2026. The 42nd RSG deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve at designated locations across the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility. Both the 108th and the 177th supported missions across U.S. Central Command, U.S. Pacific Command, and U.S. European Command. The 328th deployed to Kosovo in support of Operation Joint Guardian. The Military Review is a more than 130-year-old tradition that allows the governor as commander-in-chief to review the Soldiers and Airmen of the New Jersey National Guard.
