U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers, Fire Department of New York & community members participate in an annual 9/11 commemoration at Fort Totten in Queens, New York, Sept. 11, 2026. Hosted by the Fire Department of New York, the ceremony honors the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives during the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, including first responders and six Soldiers of the U.S. Army Reserve’s former 77th Regional Support Command.
