    xOWENSBORO, Ky. — U.S. Army Sgt. 1st Class Erik Dolores, a demonstration parachutist with the U.S. Army Parachute Team, the Golden Knights, carries a large American flag above the Ohio River while a fellow Golden Knight flies alongside during the opening of the Owensboro Air Show in Owensboro, Kentucky, Sept. 12, 2026. The opening jump showcased the precision, teamwork and airborne skill Golden Knights Soldiers use to connect communities across the country with the U.S. Army.
