Contractors move and install furniture inside newly constructed classrooms at Northern Marianas College in Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands, Sept. 10, 2026. The furniture installation marks another step toward completing the new classrooms, which are being delivered by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in support of Northern Marianas College following damage caused by Super Typhoon Bavi. The new facilities are designed to provide students with safe, modern learning spaces built to withstand future severe weather.
