    LAKE JORDAN, N.C. – U.S. Army Special Operations Civil Affairs Soldiers conduct an airborne water jump during a Civil Affairs Regiment training exercise over Lake Jordan, North Carolina, May 13, 2026. The exercise trains Civil Affairs soldiers to maintain proficiency in airborne operations and water landings. This exercise enhanced Soldier readiness to rapidly deploy anywhere and under the most challenging conditions; ARSOF Civil Affairs remains ready to respond to any combat, contingency, humanitarian assistance, and disaster response mission globally.
