    U.S. Marines compete against Swedish service members during a tug-of-war competition during the closing ceremony for Exercise Archipelago Endeavor 26 in Berga, Sweden, Sept. 7, 2026. The competition brought Marines and Swedish service members together to build camaraderie following combined training focused on chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear defense, medical crisis response, and amphibious operations. Archipelago Endeavor 26 strengthens bilateral interoperability, littoral defense capabilities, and tactical cooperation while demonstrating the readiness of U.S. and Swedish forces to operate together in the Baltic Sea region.
